RULES & TERMS

  • It is allowed to enter films that have been published online before submitting;
  • It is allowed to enter any number of films in any nominations;
  • Submitting your films does not guarantee screening or acceptance. A notification of acceptance will be sent to you;
  • The film must be an original production and must have full clearance for all content, including music. Any issues that may arise due to the infringement of copyrights is the participant’s responsibility. The CINEMO is not responsible for any infringement of copyrights;
  • If there is any doubt about the filming of the film on a mobile phone, videos, screens, behind-the-scenes materials, etc. taken on the mobile phone may be required;
  • All films have to be submitted via FilmFreeway.com. We do not accept direct email submissions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The submitted film must be shot in a mobile phone;
  • Use of additional equipment (professional or home made) is allowed, including (but not limited to) external microphone, lenses, lighting, tripod etc.
  • Any mobile app or computer software to edit video and audio as well as colour correction or special effects is allowed.
  • Foreign filmmakers are welcome in any language, but the submitted film in a language other than English must have English subtitles.

JURY

  • Film Director — Graduated from VGIK in Film Directing. Has worked as a director for TV channels and held senior positions at AZANFILM, Baku International Tourism Film Festival, and Azerbaijanfilm. Producer of nearly 100 feature, animated and documentary films, awarded at over 50 international film festivals.

    Fariz Ahmadov (Azerbaijan)

  • Doctor of Sciences — Lecturer at Izmir Katip Chelebi University on photography, media and communication. He has served on juries at international film festivals, and his work has been shown in various photography exhibitions. He conducts research on cinema, identity and representation, and has worked on film posters and provincial cinema.

    Tamer Atach (Türkiye)

  • Director of Photography (DOP) — has been working as a director of photography since 2013. Director of Photography on numerous feature films, documentaries, and TV series.
